I'm a legal American citizen and I must show my ID when:

2. Making purchases on my department store credit card.

3. When I show up for a doctor's appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5. When applying for or renewing a driver's license or passport.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.

10. When making some debit purchases, especially if I'm out of state.

11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of
the
USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day! Why should people
in
this country illegally, be exempt!!!!! Why shouldn't we guard our borders
as closely as every other country in the world does?

Why shouldn't we guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does?

Because it's cheaper to let them in an put them to work. Why should I have to pick my own strawberries when it's cheaper to get some illegals from in front of Home Depot to do it. Then all I have to do is wash them off and put them in my blender for the strawberry daiquiri.

To be honest I think we should do away with ID's all together and put bio-chips in the back of our hands like they have on Demolition Man so we can stop having to carry ID's. I really hate having to remember to pick my wallet up every morning and stick it in my pocket.

Since I rarely use my Credit Card or Debit card (You do know the government is tracking us through the ATM's and our in store purchases) I usually don't worry about it that much.

I think you may have misunderstood my post.

Illegals can get drivers license in Washington that can get fake ID's in just about any large city in California.

You post came across as just another political agenda post which many will ignore and others will make fun of.

Unless you grow your own food and don't drink California wine then just like everyone else you are helping illegals to fine employment.

Just a thought the next time you buy something that says "grown in California".

I actually hate the fact that I'm expected to carry ID everywhere I go.

NO WON is going to do the work they do, No one is going to cook, clean, shovel, or die young. Not for less than minimum wage. Not because you want to live in a home with three other families, cause that is all you can afford.

So Send every last one back to their respective country and you go out and complain that you need more money, involve the government and unions. Then go around acting all surprised that your paying 10 bucks for a quart of milk or $20 a pound for hamburger or airline prices go out the roof, And most importantly your friggin lawn dies.
So ham it up about how much they steal from you. It will come back around to get you in other ways. The best thing we can do is encourage these people to get health care and continue to be of service to us.
Now, think about all the folks that poured into country over the years. East and west coast, we wouldn’t be here if we had the same laws and restrictions we have today.
The concentration camp condition our great great grandparents endured so you could get educated and be someone.
So please, be real. This is America, The melting Pot of the world.

I have no problem with the ones that come across the border, earn their wage, and take it back home to their families. I don't even have a problem with the ones that come across and take advantage of every perk that the Calif liberal establishment has set aside for them. More power to them for being resourceful. I have a HUGE problem with those who are making these perks available in exchange for a free vote in the next election. No way, no how should someone be allowed to take advantage of all these entitlements without first learning ENGLISH and following the proper protocol and procedures to become a US Citizen!!! And once they have achieved the holy grail of citizenship, they should be precluded from filing for welfare for at least two years. See how long they hang around before they run home with their tails between their legs.

The Canadians do speak English, most of the Latinos I am know are trying to learn English, I'm sure all wanted to do that before they made a choice.
Now, have you gone down to China town or Japan town or any ethnic towns out there. Few speak American English very well and the rest are worse if at all.
So when my great great grandparents came to America and sat in a prison cell for almost a year, endured they shot and delousing and they physical abuse. We should have sent them Packing, because they weren’t born here? They like the folks today only want to do for their families what you do every day for yours and I do for mine. Yes that is the American way. To open ourselves up so that we can free someone from abuse or help them get on their feet.
If we had a Medical system like most other places in the world. They would be automatically covered. If we had a government that was taking every dollar we give them and spending it on their personal venues, If we just would take the time to walk a mile in these peoples shoes and know that they are not trying to get welfare they are trying to survive. You go try and do that. Go walk a mile in their shoes and call it the good life.
We should be demanding the government give more too all the schools, so these kids are educated well enough to become the Doctors and teachers of tomorrow.
I spent 21 years in the military to defend the right of every citizen in this country and soon to be citizen and everyone’s right to want try to become a U.S. Citizen.
Have you ever noticed how many foreign nationals are in the military? How many are from different ethnic back grounds. HHhmmmmmmm Take a look. Don't pick on one race or one color. Cause if you really take a look around, there are a lot of Hispanics that are whiter than most. What then.
It's not their fault our country is a mess. It is the people in government and those who hate our life style, and our beliefs. And yes you can believe whatever your little heart desires. Even if I don't agree.
So Let’s fix the problems in our government and the threat from overseas first and the rest will fix itself.

Yah I second this one... It suck, Going from Eygpt to Elot, Israel. with showing of IDs, well the process. It did hepl that We all were on a bus with 60 soldiers...

Side note the women at the boader was hot...
